Disneyland Paris and Mickey’s Magical Party inspire British milliner Stephen Jones to create a spectacular headwear piece for Ascot 2009

World-renowned milliner Stephen Jones has created a show-stopping bespoke headwear piece inspired by the magic of Disneyland Paris.

The hat will be worn by model and socialite Jasmine Guinness on Ladies Day at Ascot 2009.

The chosen design features the trademark, iconic Mickey ears, on which elements of Parisian glamour -- satins, feathers and Lido-style feather wheels have been added, for a truly spectacular and eye-catching creation.

Stephen will introduce the hat live on camera on the 18th June, before opening his own showcase, as a guest designer at this year's Ascot.

"This project has been an amazing opportunity to actually work with Disneyland Paris", Stephen Jones points out, "as this year it is celebrating Mickey's Magical Party. I too wanted to be part of the Magic -- and I can't think of a better way to be in it, with my hat at Ascot -- "The" premier place for hats!"
