Disney's Black Eye: Hong Kong Disneyland

Disney has a black eye right now with Hong Kong Disneyland. With Shanghai Disneyland 4 or 5 years away from opening, which will take away most of the tourist away from Hong Kong Disneyland (most of the tourist come from China), it's time for Disney and The Hong Kong Government to stop playing games and get to expanding the Park.

Don't get me wrong I love Hong Kong Disneyland, but it needs to bring in more guest to the park. To do that they need 4 to 6 more rides. I would like to see Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Toy Story Mania,which would be the top of my list. Also Tower of Terror and Haunted Mansion.

They say by the end of June, Disney and the Hong Kong Government, will be signing a new agreement to expand Hong Kong Disneyland. They need to have one of the new rides on line by the end of 2010. The best bet would be Toy Story Mania.

As I have said in the past Hong Kong Disneyland is a nice one day park. If you take your time and enjoy the park. There is no going commando here you would be done with the park in about 3 hours. But with the addition of more rides and shows Hong Kong Disneyland could become a two day park with lot's to do and a reason to stay at the Hong Kong Disney Hotels.
