Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Breaks Ground on New Osceola Branch

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., Aug. 27, 2009 - Walt Disney World President Meg Crofton recently joined several other area business leaders to celebrate a special groundbreaking at the site of the new Tupperware Brands Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida in Kissimmee.

With shovels in hand to mark the beginning of much anticipated construction work, the new and improved Boys & Girls Club facility will replace the 35-year-old building currently known as the Osceola Branch. The 25,360-square-foot venue will offer youth development programs that inspire members to reach their full potential with an emphasis on technology. Walt Disney World Resort will sponsor the facility’s teen center, which will feature the latest in digital arts. The new club will also have a full-size gymnasium, resource-filled learning center and the capacity to serve over 1,000 members on a yearly basis.

The Tupperware Brands Branch is slated to open in spring 2010.
