Tokyo Disney Resort Welcomed 500 Millionth Guest

Japanese housewife Megumi Soma, center, is all smiles as she`s congratulated by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse for being the 500 millionth visitor to the Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea amusement parks near Tokyo at Urayasu, Japan, on Friday Aug. 27, 2010. Soma, who came from Fujioka, north of Tokyo, crossed the gate with her family members to find herself to be the 500 millionth visitor to the landmark theme parks. The Tokyo Disneyland, the first Disneyland outside the United States, opened in April 1983.
